Coco Martin Interview by Karen Davila on Girlfriend & Marriage
COCO MARTIN – The Batang Quiapo actor was asked about his “longtime girlfriend”, his view on it leading to marriage, and having a kid.
One of the most successful celebrities in the Philippine showbiz industry is action star Coco Martin. Undeniably, his most popular role is Cardo Dalisay in the ABS-CBN action-drama TV series FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano which was one of the longest to air – 7 years.
Countless people watched the journey of Cardo Dalisay who fought the ill happenings in the society together with his team to promote societal justice. Many people laughed, cried, got thrilled, and were shocked by the scenes of the TV series. A lot of people also cried when the finale came.
Currently, Coco Martin is working on another project, Ang Batang Quiapo. He has began taping for the new project and, at the set, celebrity vlogger Karen Davila visited him and interviewed him for a vlog.
Karen Davila asked Coco Martin about his “longtime girlfriend”. The Kapamilya actor who is visibly quite shy but happy to answer the question, confirmed that he has one longtime girlfriend. When asked about marriage, he expressed that it should lead to it.
Karen made another follow-up personal question – about when he wants to have a kid. According to the 41-year-old actor, he wants to have a child “anytime”. He stressed that he wants to keep his personal life private as he believes that making it all public will make things prone to other people intervening it.
” Ang sa akin kasi, gusto ko panatilihing pribado yung buhay ko. Kasi mahirap pag i-all out mo eh. Lahat pakikialaman… Ito nga lang sa ginagalawan ko ang gulo gulo na eh. Papapasukin ko pa sila sa personal na buhay ko?” the actor.
According to Coco Martin, in their house, he is never asked about work and he does not like talking about showbiz. He revealed that they talk about the ordinary things like the groceries or the things that need to be fixed at home. He is now the head of their family and, aside from his grandmother who raised him, his siblings and nephews and nieces are living with him. Here’s the YouTube vlog:
