Ben Tulfo defends his friend, Wowowin host Willie Revillame
BEN TULFO – The broadcast journalist took to social media wherein he defended Wowowin host Willie Revillame against critics.
Revillame, a veteran game show host, has been making rounds in the past few days following his statement against his critics. It started after many seemed to have been celebrating the alleged cancellation of his program on ALLTV.
In one of the episodes of Wowowin, he also made a rant against his colleagues in the showbiz industry. Among those who were dragged in his so-called “panunumbat” were the names of Cristy Fermin, Ogie Diaz and Gab Valenciano.
Willie has already apologized for his “rant”. However, there were netizens who are still criticizing him. This prompted Ben Tulfo, a close friend of Revillame, to defend him.
“Humingi na nga ng dispensa, pinagtutulungan niyo pa din!,” he noted. “‘Pag ang tao nagpakumbaba at humingi ng kapatawaran sa kaniyang pagkakamali, ‘wag na natin palawakin pa. ‘Wag na hamunin ng giyera baka kasi may pumasok na totoong mandirigma na kaibigan ni Willie. Ito’y paalaala lang naman, mamili na lang kayo!” he added.
Meanwhile, Ben Tulfo, whose real name is Bienvenido Teshiba Tulfo, is a television and radio personality, entrepreneur and production company executive. He is the brother of Ramon Tulfo, Raffy Tulfo and Erwin Tulfo, as well as Wanda Tulfo Teo.
He is primarily known for being the brains behind BITAG, a documentary-reality and investigative public service program that also won as the “Best Public Service Program” for many years.
