Baron and Jamie have been married since 2019 and also share a three-year-old daughter, Talitha Cumi.

In an interview on PUSH Bets Live, the actor said that he and his wife are planning to acquire their own dream family home after years of renting a house in Cebu.

I’m all about praying to God na, ‘Lord I hope I get to provide and give my family the best.’ Kasi for the longest time we’ve been renting and hopefully now, because of the projects that are coming in, God willing, we’ll get to purchase our home sweet home,” he said. “May prospect na. Meron na. Pero let’s see lang. Praying na hindi namin talaga magastos ‘yun.

The actor also spoke about his current relationship with his wife since they went through a rough patch last 2022 because of his struggle with alcoholism.

Baron shared that Jamie had asked for an annulment of their marriage at the time, but he and his wife later reconciled and also agreed to work on their marriage by seeking counseling.

He also said that he and his wife are working on their relationship every day as there’s no perfect relationship.

The actor said that it was his fear of God and his faith that made him hold onto his marriage with Jamie, adding that his wife is the woman he wants to spend the rest of his life with.

Reflecting on their marriage troubles, the actor said that it helped him and his wife establish a better relationship than before. According to him, they learned from their mistakes and they also have their “blind spots” and “character defects”.

Baron went on to share the things he learned from that chapter of his marriage to Jamie Evangelista.

Natutunan ko? Patience. Understanding. Love is kind. And also acceptance, kasi bilang mag-asawa we both are individuals eh,” Baron said. “We have different personalities so we both have to accept lang and understand that, ‘yung mga certain attitudes and triggers namin, dapat aware kami doon. So that alam na namin kung papaano namin inu-nurture ‘yung relationship namin as husband and wife.
