Basher to Arjo Atayde: “Wala ba work sa. Congress?”
ARJO ATAYDE – The actor-turned-politician was questioned by a netizen following his trip to Disneyland along with his fiancee Maine Mendoza.
It was just recently when the Eat Bulaga host went to social media platform, Instagram wherein she posted a photo of her and her boyfriend. Her post was accompanied by the caption: “12 hours in Hong Kong because why not”.
The actress-telvision host and Quezon City 1st District Representative went to Hong Kong Disneyland despite their busy schedule to celebrate Valentine’s Day.
The two took time to enjoy the rides there including the Hyperspace Mountain. Her post was flooded with heart emojis and positive comments and among those who reacted to their photo are their friends Maja Salvador, MJ Lastimosa, and Arjo’s sister Ria Atayde.
However, one basher questioned Maine Mendoza and Arjo Atayde’s trip to Disneyland. The basher asked: “Wala ba work sa Congress?”
Arjo Atayde and Maine Mendoza did not responded to the comment of the netizen but the followers of the engaged couple were quick to defend them.
“Ang work ni arjo sa congress ay from Monday up to Wednesday only wala sila sa congress ng buong isang linggo after 5pm pwede ng mamasyal inggit ka lang kay Cong Arjo di mo kaya yang trip to HK ng 12 hours lang tapos balik agad belat,” one netizen said.
“Hahaha! clingy ka masyado feeling mo mga congressman 24/7 dapat lagi nasa congress. President nga mayat maya alis kasama sandamakmak nya alipores for ‘state visit’ daw,” another netizen commented.
