It was just last month when a certain Joyce Chaneco Villamar, a Pinay based in Singapore posted a photo of her alongside the Eat Bulaga host during their chance meeting at a mall in Singapore. But according to Villamar, Mendoza was not approachable.

She even called her “suplada” despite the fact that she was granted to have a photo with her. “Suplada pala sa personal itong si Maine Mendoza na to. So disappointed with you,” she wrote as the caption to her post.

Maine Mendoza’s fans immediately came to defend her. Some questioned Villamar how come the actress-television host was “suplada” when they even had a photo together. The Eat Bulaga host herself reacted to the accusation of Villmar. Maine said she wished she had actually acted in a rude manner against the online user who was a sales associate.

Maine Mendeoza even tagged her interaction/experience with the Pinay in Singapore and her group as by far the worst she had abroad.

Arjo Atayde kept mum on the issue, but in a recent interview with PEP.ph, he admitted that he is hurt whenever his fiancée becomes involved in an issue.

“I feel bad. Obviously, if it’s Maine, I’m affected. She’s my fiancée, I’ll really be affected. But they don’t know her. She really means well to everyone. She’s really such a kind person.”

Arjo stressed: “she didn’t mean anything bad to anyone.” He added: “If some things happened like that, of course, maaapektuhan ka…Definitely I will defend her. I feel insulted for her and I will feel bad if someone did that to her.
