A young singer is getting a lot of attention for hitting the high notes of “Akin Ka Na Lang”
AKIN KA NA LANG – A young boy hitting the high notes of the hit single of Morissette has gone viral on social media.
Singing has since become an important part of Filipino pop culture. Karaoke is a must-have at any reunion, outing, birthday party, or holiday celebration. It doesn’t matter if the singer isn’t as good as Celine Dion or Whitney Houston, to name a few, as long as the singer can enjoy the vibes and indulge in the music.
Apparently, not all Filipinos are gifted singers. But why are some so good? It’s most likely due to culture, as most families have their own karaoke machine at home. In this way, they may improve their voice and possibly become good singers.
Speaking of, a young boy has caught the attention of netizens after belting some of the high notes of the song “Akin Ka Na Lang” by Morissette. Watch the video below:

In the video which was uploaded by a certain Jaymar Umpal, the young boy can be seen effortlessly singing the highest parts of the song. “Nakailang kanta na ang natapos nya kaya nya parin bumirit ng Akin ka nalang Goodjob baby boy” the caption noted.
Because of his rendition, the young boy earned massive praises from the netizens. Some lauded his singing prowess despite his young age. One netizen said he has a potential to become a star if given a break. Another netizen commented he must join singing competitions such as The Voice.
