Jann Anthony Gabutan, an internet celebrity, was hospitalized
JANN ANTHONY GABUTAN – A singer who rose to fame with his rendition of the song “Buwan” had been hospitalized.
Earlier, he went to the social networking site, Facebook wherein he shared the sad news. His post was accompanied by the caption: “Pagsubok 2023.”
The online star’s illness appears to have been so critical that a hospital admission was required. He can also be seen being assisted by an oxygen machine.
Jann Anthony Gabutan had been diagnosed with osteogenesis imperfecta, a rare condition that prevented him to grow normally. Despite his situation, he did not lost his confidence. He even emerged as a social media star thanks to his song covers on the internet.
In fact, he recently made rounds online following his song number during the International Day of Persons With Disabilities. At the time, Gabutan made a soulful rendition of Always Remember Us This Way popularized by Lady Gaga and is one of the soundtracks of the movie, A Star is Born. Jann Anthony Gabutan sang the song while sitting on the chair.
Meanwhile, his post at the hospital was flooded with prayers from netizens. In the comment section, he gave an update about his condition. His doctor told him that he has multiple bony deformities and pneumonia in the right lung field, which is why his back hurts. He also has breathing difficulties.
