Quiboloy is a pastor of the Philippines-based Restorationist church called the Kingdom of Jesus Christ. He has made claims that he is “The Appointed Son of God” as well as being “The Owner of the Universe.”

Quiboloy was a member of the United Pentecostal Church, a Oneness Pentecostal denomination until he established the Kingdom of Jesus Christ. The members of the congregation refer to their community as a “Kingdom Nation.” They claim about 2 million “Kingdom citizens” abroad and 4 million in the Philippines.

His ministry has a global television channel, the Sonshine Media Network International, and 17 radio stations in the Philippines. It also has two newspapers, Pinas and Sikat.

Since last year, the religious leader has proven that none could beat him even inside the court. In fact, last December 2022, he scored 92 points in a single basketball game.

However, some basketball fans were not impressed by his performance after seeing that the Pastor was only being guarded lightly. Shortly after, Manny Pacquiao’s brother Bobby Pacquiao broke his initial record by 115 points.

Then, he made another record. He scored 119 points in a basketball game, breaking the record of former NBA player Wilt Chamberlain.

Earlier, he proved his domination inside the court after securing 138 points in a basketball game versus ACQ Selection. His team won after earning a total of 153 points. During the game, Quiboloy made 46 3-points, and 1 assist.

Because of his record-breaking scores, netizens often referred him as “Most Valuable Pastor (MVP)”.
