Here’s the clarification of Laurenti Dyogi about Kylie Padilla
LAURENTI DYOGI – The Star Magic head made a clarification about Kapuso actress Kylie Padilla.
Padilla stars in the movie Unravel alongside Kapamilya actor Gerald Anderson. The project is under Star Magic and MavX. It is one of the movies which will hit theaters this coming 2023 including I Love Lizzy, and Swing.
In a press conference, Laurenti made a clarification about Padilla. The latter is an artist of Sparkle, the talent management arm of GMA-7. On the other hand, Dyogi or popularly known as Director Lauren, is the ABS-CBN TV and Entertainment Production head. He’s also the head of Star Magic, the talent management arm of ABS-CBN.
According to Dyogi, the Kapuso actress is not transferring to Star Magic. “I just like to thank Kylie and Sparkle for joining us. Baka may magtanong kasi diyan, ‘Is Kylie with Star Magic? No, we have the honor, Gerald had the honor to work with Kylie,” he said. Kylie, on the other hand, was thankful for the opportunity given to her. “It’s my honor po,” she said.
Director Lauren also clarified that MavX produced their movie while Star Magic provided the artists. It is said that the idea of Kylie teaming up with Gerald in Unravel came from the MaVx camp, and it was said that the conversation between all the parties went smoothly.
In the case of Kylie and Gerald, they welcome any opportunity to collaborate with stars from different television networks.
