Megan Young: “May birthday surprise ako para kay Fofo pero …”
MEGAN YOUNG – The actress recently took to social media to share how she celebrated Mikael Daez’s 35th birthday and their 12th anniversary as well.
It was last January 6 when Megan and Mikael took to Instagram to mark two special occasions — their 12th “JowAnniversary” and Mikael’s 35th birthday.
On Friday, Megan posted on her Instagram account a video where she shared how she celebrated her husband’s birthday and their 12th anniversary as a couple. The beauty queen had something good prepared for her husband, but the two had a hilarious start to their celebrations.
“May birthday surprise ako para kay Fofo pero work, work, work ang peg kaya hindi pa kami nakakaalis,” she said in the video. “Hindi niya kasi talaga alam kung ano yun dahil surprise nga. Pero may nagaantay na sa atin, Fofo!”
Mikael finally got up from his desk and the two went to a café for a simple celebration.
As seen in the video, their coffee was brewed and served by Philippine Aeropress 2022 Champion Jao Austero. The actor also received a cake, as well as BLACKPINK and Nayeon photocards.

Mikael, for his part, marked their 12th “JowAnniversary” by posting a video of them having a snowball fight.
In the caption of his post, the actor said that he and his wife have been together much longer than they have been married. He added that he always remembered their “jowa anniversary” date more than the wedding anniversary.
“I wonder if I’ll ever adjust to the wedding date. But either way, welcoming another year w boneezy with a chilly snowball to the face,” he wrote.
Megan and Mikael tied the knot twice on two different dates and locations last January 2020 – one wedding ceremony was held in Caleruega in Nasugbu, Batangas last January 10 and another wedding ceremony in Subic, Zambales last January 25.
