Maxene Magalona: “This year, I promised myself to live with more intention and purpose.“
MAXENE MAGALONA – The actress recently shared that she promised herself to live her life with “more intention and purpose” in 2023.
Maxene took to social media to share her reflections with her social media followers.
Last Saturday, Maxene posted on Instagram a series of photos of herself in what looks to be a river or a stream in Bali, Indonesia. The actress can be seen either be praying or meditating.
In the caption of her social media post, she shared that she promised herself to live her life with “more intention and purpose” this 2023. The actress also shared the three words that her heart and soul chose when she asked herself about her intentions.
“This year, I promised myself to live with more intention and purpose,” she wrote. “When I asked myself what my intentions are and why I do what I do, these are the words that my heart and soul chose: Growth. Gratitude. Grace. Thank You, God!”
Maxene also shared some of the biggest lessons that year 2022 has taught her. She shared that life is “too short and precious” to be wasting energy and time on people, things, and situations that are not good for the soul.

The actress also said that there’s strength in vulnerability as it “creates deeper and more meaningful connections”. She added that the love for others can only go as deep as the love for oneself.
Meanwhile, Maxene Magalona shared that “surrender” was her word for 2022 and also revealed that her word for this year is “self-control”.
