Marian Rivera: “Palagi kaming may time na kaming dalawa lang”
MARIAN RIVERA – The Kapuso actress recently shared her and her husband’s secret on how to keep the spark alive in their marriage.
It was last December 30, 2022, when Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes celebrated their 8th wedding anniversary.
In an interview on “Updated with Nelson Canlas” podcast, Marian shared her and her husband’s secret on how to keep the spark alive after 8 years of having a happy and successful marriage.
The actress told podcast host Nelson Canlas that she and her husband always have a heart-to-heart talk and also get updates on what happened on their respective days as well. She added that they have time for each other.
“Very open kami sa lahat ng bagay at sinisigurado namin na kahit anong busy namin sa isa’t-isa palagi kaming may time na kaming dalawa lang,” she said. “Kung gusto talaga, may paraan e, so talagang pinag-usapan namin ni Dong no matter what happens gaano man kami ka-busy.”
Aside from this, Marian was also asked if their kids Zia and Sixto knew that they’re famous.

According to the actress, she and her husband would often bring her daughter Zia to their shoots for commercials and the series “Jose & Maria’s Bonggang Villa”. She added that they’re very proud of their jobs because this is how they met.
“Kaya sabi siguro ni Dong it’s about time, yung ipunta natin sa GMA si Zia para sabihin nating ito ‘yung network namin, [ito ‘yung office namin],” she said. “Kailangan malaman niya kung ano ba talaga ang trabaho ni mama at ni dada.”
Likewise, her son Sixto knew what his parents do for a living since he got to see shoots in their home. During shoots, her daughter got more of an idea of the whole production process and on what the job of the actor entails.
Based on the report, going to productions may also be the reason why her daughter is such a natural during her commercial shoots. In fact, she said that her daughter is even better than her.
