Here’s the reaction of Kuya Kim Atienza on “back to work” post of Donnalyn Bartolome
KUYA KIM ATIENZA – The Kapuso TV host reacted to the controversial “back to work” statement of Donnalyn Bartolome.
Currently, Donnalyn making rounds online following her “back to work” remark. In her post, she’s wondering why so many employees are sad when they return to work after the holidays. She exclaimed that they should be happy because there is another chance to improve their lives and the lives of their families.
According to her, she even prefers to work on the first day of January because “superstition ko may work ako buong taon pag ganun.” She also reminded the netizens to be grateful for having a job and if that work makes someone unhappy, he/she should find a job that will make him/her happy. In the last part of her post, she stressed that having a job is a blessing and people should change their mindset.
Because of her statement, many netizens were dismayed at her with some calling her “inconsiderate,” “insensitive,” and spreader of “toxic positivity”. Among those who reacted to her statement was Kuya Kim Atienza.
The Kapuso TV host took to Facebook wherein he gave his two cents on the statement of Donnalyn. According to the 24 Oras trivia master, everyone has different blessings received in life.
Kuya Kim also clarified that his post was not intended to defame or put down the vlogger-singer. He said this is the reality that ordinary workers go through.
Meanwhile, this is not the first time netizens have criticized Donnalyn. In July 2022, she was also criticized for the baby-themed photoshoot for her 28th birthday. Then, she was lambasted online for her kanto-themed birthday.
