Kinulam ng kamag-anak? Glydel Mercado speaks about her health crisis
GLYDEL MERCARDO – The actress revealed seeking help from an “albularyo” or faith healer after she was allegedly bewitched by her relative.
During the mediacon for the movie “That Boy In The Dark” starring Joaquin Domagoso, the wife of actor Tonton Gutierrez made a revelation that she suffered from a health crisis after being bewitched by her relative. According to her, her health crisis started when she failed to help a relative.
“After taping for the series ‘Artikulo/247’ noong January, nagkaroon ako ng palpitation, anxiety attacks at fear of food. Kapag sinasabing kakain na, nanginginig na ako tapos umiiyak ako habang kumakain,” she said.
Glydel Mercado shared that she underwent an executive check up. She was confined at the hospital. The doctor told her that she was okay but insisted that she’s not well. She returned to her psychiatrist and eventually, “nagpatawas ako. Naniniwala kasi ako sa tawas.”
Her session with the faith healer was every Tuesday and Friday. Despite the fact that she has “pangkontra”, she still experience chills. Her albularyo was able to talk to the “mangkukulam” and her relative and they allegedly said that they wanted to take her life.
After all the rituals, she was surprised that her relative died. But despite what happened between them, she still prayed for her relative. “Ang ginawa kasi ng albularyo ko, ibinalik sa kanila,” she said.
She tried to know how she died. “Ang sabi kumain lang daw, natulog tapos hindi na nagising. Sabi ko at least hindi siya nahirapan,” she said.
