Clavio, also known as Igan, is a radio and television newscaster, journalist, and television host. He currently co-hosts the late-night newscast Saksi on GMA Network, the morning show Unang Hirit, and a morning radio show called One on One: Walang Personalan on DZBB with Connie Sison.

During college, he served on the editorial board of his school newspaper. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the Faculty of Arts and Letters at the University of Santo Tomas.

Clavio worked as a news writer at DWIZ after graduating. After a year, he was hired as a field reporter for DZBB, the flagship radio station of the GMA Network.

Clavio made his television debut as a news reporter in 1994, when GMA offered him a reporter’s spot on Brigada Siete, which he co-hosted with the late Louie Beltran and Jessica Soho. Now, he’s one of the mainstays of GMA News and Public Affairs.

Over the weekend, Arnold Clavio went to social media platform, Instagram wherein he showcased his singing talent. In a video, he can be seen singing “Fly Me to the Moon” by Frank Sinatra.

Meanwhile, the comment section of Arnold Clavio’s social media has been disabled to the public. He was criticized for several times whenever he expressed his opinions about different happenings in the country.

The criticism against Clavio started when Sara Balabagan-Sereno, a former overseas Filipino worker (OFW), disclosed that she had a child with Clavio while they were having a secret relationship when she was just 17 years old.
