SPECIAL TREAT – Netizens praised a lola for her generosity after treating two beggars to a free meal at Jollibee.
Kindness is defined as friendliness, generosity, and consideration, but it entails much more. It can mean different things to different people.

In the Filipino culture, kindness is a value that is known by many names. Perhaps, it is one of the fundamental characteristics of Filipinos.
Speaking of kindness, a lola continues to earn praises for her genuine act of kindness by giving free food to kids who are begging for money outside a fast food restaurant. According to Leira Joyce Quilla, it was around 2 p.m. when she went to Jollibee, hoping that a spicy chicken would take away her bad mood.
But her heart melted when she saw an old lady giving a special treat to two street kids who had been waiting for alms from passers-by outside the fast food restaurant for quite some time.
Quilla witness the kindness of the old woman. She stressed: “This is what our eyes need today, the goodness of people.”
Leira Joyce said that it was not only the lola who’s kind to the kids but the crew of the said fast food restaurant as well. “The way they guide the two kids to wash their hands and took out the left over of them after. Ang saya sa mata,” she noted.
