Darryl Yap invites Kris Aquino to watch his new movie’s premiere
DARRYL YAP – The controversial director invited Queen of All Media Kris Aquino to the premiere night of his new movie about Marcos and Ninoy.
It was just recently when the trailer of the upcoming movie of Darryl Yap has been released. As expected, it went viral on social media. “Martyr or Murderer” features the political adversaries between Ninoy Aquino and Ferdinand Marcos Sr.
It is anticipated that it would also demonstrate how the Marcos family dealt with criticism after being held accountable for Aquino’s demise. People might also have a glimpse of the alleged love triangle between the two lawmakers and the former first lady Imelda Marcos. Actor Cesar Montano will play Marcos Sr., and former mayor of Manila City Isko Moreno will play Aquino.
Social media users speculated that the aforementioned movie would spark controversy like Yap’s film Maid in Malacanang. It might become even more contentious if Kris Aquino ever accepts Yap’s offer to the MoM premiere night.
Yap publicly asked the television host, former Sen. Bam Aquino, and the current senator Risa Hontiveros to see his film through a Facebook post. “Kris Aquino, Bam Aquino, Riza Hontiveros. I have 3 vacant seats for the 2023 Premiere Night,” he said.
Yap said that Leni Robredo was already “worthless” when asked why he didn’t invite the former vice president. Aquino, who is receiving treatment in America as of this writing, has not yet responded to Yap’s invitation. However, due of the sensitive nature of the film, internet users had already predicted that Aquino would turn down Yap’s invitation.
