Clavio, also known as Igan, is a radio and television newscaster, journalist, and television host. He currently co-anchors GMA Network’s late-night newscast Saksi, the morning show Unang Hirit, and One on One: Walang Personalan on DZBB with Connie Sison. He also has a column called Hirit Na!
for Abante, a tabloid newspaper

Recently, he went to Instagram wherein he posted a “hugot” about karma. He noted: “A time to come in your life when some people will regret why they treated you wrong. Trust me, it will definitely come.”

Apparently, it is not clear with whom he’s addressing his post. It can be recalled that it was just recently when Clavio made a buzz online following his reaction to the controversial Maharlika Sovereign Wealth Fund.

The bill establishing the P275 billion Maharlika Wealth Fund (MWF) is being expedited by Congress. The bill was written by several lawmakers, including Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez, a causing of the president, Yedda Romualdez, a representative for the Tingog Party List, and Senior Deputy Majority Leader Sandro Marcos, the president’s son.

According to the proposed plan, the Maharlika fund would assemble P275 billion from banks and government pension funds for the purpose of funding pricey national development initiatives and other assets. It has come under fire from senators, representatives, and economists for having lax management controls and possibly putting pensioners at risk.
