The “encounter” of Ai-Ai delas Alas and Jovit Baldivino
AI-AI DELAS ALAS – The Comedy Queen recalled her “encounter” with late singer Jovit Baldivino.
The death of Jovit Baldivino has shattered the hearts of many people. The season one winner of Pilipinas Got Talent passed away at the young age of 29 from a blood clot in his brain and a stroke.
According to Jovit’s family, his first stroke occurred on November 22. In the first week of December, he was invited by a friend to a Christmas party. Despite the doctor’s advice to rest and avoid strenuous activity while he was healing, he was unable to refuse the crowd’s desire for him to sing.
But after performing three (3) songs at the holiday party, Jovit Baldivino had another stroke and was brought to the hospital. His CTScan revealed the presence of a blood clot in his brain. After having surgery, he was unconscious for the following five days before succumbing to an aneurysm.
Among those devastated by his passing is Comedy Queen Ai-Ai delas Alas. In an inteview with entertainment website, Push, the comedienne recalled her “encounter” with the singer.
She said: “Umiyak ako noon kasi magsu-siomai siya.
Ai-Ai delas Alas just returned to the Philippines for some showbiz commitments but she will go back to the US as soon as possible to celebrate Christmas there with her husband, Gerald Sibayan.
