Pia Wurtzbach: “@londonmarathon is waiting!”
PIA WURTZBACH – The former Miss Universe recently took to social media to announce that she will be running in the London Marathon in 2023.
Days after her participation in the NYC marathon, Pia is taking on another challenge to join another race as she revealed that she will participate in the London Marathon in 2023.
On Instagram, Pia said that the NYC marathon has given her a fresh perspective on life. She trained for several months before she completed the 42-km race last November 6.

According to her, discovering the world of running has opened her eyes to a new and bigger world where she met new people and it felt so good to be exposed to that.
She also quipped that this experience made her realize that life has so much more to offer, adding that she’s already on the path to improving her running form just in time for her next race.
“In this marathon, I was with completely different people that had one common goal: to finish strong,” she wrote. “Outside, real life is waiting for you and you just need to step out and take the first step. Totoo yun.”
The beauty queen shared some video clips from her past runs leading up to the NYC Marathon through an Instagram reel. She said that she wanted to do more and “quitting isn’t an option” for her anymore.
Pia is challenging herself once more for the upcoming London Marathon in April 2023, saying that she wanted to beat her own record.
