Mariel Padilla: “On his special day, he asked for 1 thing…”
MARIEL PADILLA – The wife of actor-turned-senator Robin Padilla took to social media to share a message for him on his birthday.
Senator Padilla is celebrating his birthday on Wednesday, November 23. His wife shared a series of family photos on her social media account and also wrote a sweet message for him to mark his special day.
In the caption, Mariel greeted her husband on his birthday and said that she’s grateful that he’s the one she chose to spend her life with. She also described her husband as someone who is “most passionate, caring, protective, and loving”.
“On his special day, he asked for 1 thing… no party. Your wish is my command,” she wrote in the caption of her social media post. “Enjoy your regular, normal, no party birthday hahaha @robinhoodpadilla”
Among those who greeted the senator in the comments section are Toni Gonzaga, Iza Calzado, Bianca Gonzalez, Marjorie Barretto, and Ciara Sotto.

Prior to her husband’s birthday, Mariel shared how they celebrated the birthday of their daughters Isabella & Gabriella.
At that time, Mariel said that a ballerina-themed birthday party is a “last minute decision” that she made for her daughters, and she also felt that her children deserved to be celebrated.
Robin and Mariel celebrated their 12th anniversary as a married couple last August.
The couple first had a Muslim wedding in Taj Mahal in India last August 19, 2010. According to the senator, they also had a Christian ceremony and also got married in Igorot rites.
