SUBIC – A 19-year-old guy continues to inspire many with his honesty after surrendering to the police the bag he found on his way to the hospital that contains 70,000 pesos.

Honesty is the best policy. When you find something, whether it’s money, jewelry, or a valuable item, the right thing to do is return it to the owner.

Speaking of, a teenager from Subic, Zambales received a snappy salute after returning a bag that contains lots of cash. The honest teenager is identified as Arjay E. Piletina, a resident of Macedo St., Brgy Wawandue, in Subic, Zambales. His honest act was posted on social media via the Facebook page of “Subic Mps Zambales Ppo.

According to the post, Arjay was on his way to the hospital to admit his “pamangkin” when he found the bag that contains not just seventy thousand pesos but IDs, ATM cards, and a key.

Despite his situation, he did not hesitate to return the money he found. He immediately went to the police station to surrender the bag. The owner, on the other hand, was thankful for the honesty of Arjay.

“Patunay lamang ito sa adhikain ng revitalized KASIMBAYANAN at ng MKK=K, na nagpapakita ng MALASAKIT sa ating Kapwa anuman ang sitwasyon na ating nararanasan. Tunay ngang may kabutihan sa bawat tao,” the post noted.

The post has gone viral, garnering reactions and praise from the netizens. Most of the netizens lauded Arjay for being honest despite the fact that his family is also in need.
