Claudine Barretto: “[Please] pray for a safe operation for me”
CLAUDINE BARRETTO – The actress took to social media wherein she asked for prayers as she undergo a thigh operation.
Dubbed “The Optimum Star,” Claudine is regarded as one of the most iconic actresses of all time. Her showbiz career started when she became part of the ABS-CBN youth-oriented variety show, Ang TV.
Among her well-acclaimed performances are in drama series like Mula sa Puso, Saan Ka Man Naroroon, Sa Dulo ng Walang Hanggan, Marina, Iisa Pa Lamang. She also starred in box-office hits such as Dahil Mahal na Mahal Kita, Anak, Got 2 Believe, Kailangan Kita, Milan, Nasaan Ka Man, Sukob, and Etiquette for Mistresses.
Claudine is the youngest daughter of Miguel and Estrella “Inday” Barretto. She has two sisters who are also actresses: Gretchen Barretto and Marjorie Barretto. It was in 2006 when she got married to actor Raymart Santiago. But in 2013, they decided to part ways. They had two children, Sabina and Santino Santiago.
Recently, she went to the social media platform, Instagram wherein she asked for prayers as she undergo a thigh operation. In the caption, she wrote: “[Please] pray for a safe operation for me. [Love] you, my Palanggas.”
Claudine Barretto also shared a video of herself being wheeled into the operating room and said she would provide an update. As per her Instagram feed, she was admitted to the Emergency Room four days ago but she clarified that she did not contract COVID-19.
