Here’s the hugot of Claudine Barretto about her “ex-husband”
CLAUDINE BARRETTO – The Optimum Star has a “hugot” about her ex-husband.
Dubbed as “The Optimum Star,” Claudine is regarded as one of the iconic actresses of all time.
Her showbiz career started when she became part of ABS-CBN youth-oriented variety show, Ang TV.
Among her well-acclaimed performances are in drama series like Mula sa Puso, Saan Ka Man Naroroon, Sa Dulo ng Walang Hanggan, Marina, Iisa Pa Lamang.
She also starred in box-office hits such as Dahil Mahal na Mahal Kita, Anak, Got 2 Believe, Kailangan Kita, Milan, Nasaan Ka Man, Sukob, and Etiquette for Mistresses.
Currently, she’s gearing up for her reunion project with Mark Anthony Fernandez titled, Deception.
During the virtual media conference of their movie, Claudine shared that the film is very close to her heart because of the true-to-life deceptions she experienced before.
“Itong pelikulang ito is very close to my heart dahil sa mga nangyari sa amin ng ex-husband ko,” she said.
“It hits close to home sa akin kasi hindi lang naman sa ex-husband ko kundi sa mga taong pinagkatiwalaan ko,” she added.
Although she did not drop the name of her “ex-husband”, it can be deduced that she’s referring to Raymart Santiago.
Claudine considers Raymart as her ex-husband despite the fact that their marriage has yet to be annulled.
Meanwhile, Deception starring Claudine and Mark Anthony is directed by Joel Lamangan.
The movie centers on the story of a woman who is released from jail ten years after she killed her husband. When she meets a guy that looks exactly like her husband, she starts to connect the dots linked to the night the murder happened.
