TIRSO CRUZ III – Netizens reacted to the resemblance of the veteran actor to South Korean star Lee Jung-jae.
Tirso is a veteran Filipino actor who was once regarded as a “matinee idol”.
He started in showbiz in the year 1969 via the movie, D’Musical Teenage Idols!
Through the years, he has earned various awards such as FAMAS and Gawad Urian.
He has starred in some of the famous telerserye like Wildflower, The General’s Daughter, FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.
Presently, he stars on GMA Network’s Maria Clara at Ibarra.
He was appointed by President Bongbong Marcos as the chairperson of the Film Development Council of the Philippines replacing Liza Diño.
On the other hand, Lee Jung-jae is a South Korean actor and filmmaker.
He gained widespread international stardom and fame for his role as Seong Gi-hun, the main protagonist of Netflix’s survival drama Squid Game.
The movie earned him various nominations such as Critics’ Choice Television Award for Best Actor in a Drama Series, the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor – Television Series Drama, the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series and the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series

Recently, Tirso Cruz III’s wife took to the social media platform, Instagram wherein she posted a snap of the veteran actor during their trip to Busan in South Korea.
Some netizens were quick to notice the resemblance between the Filipino actor and the South Korean star.
