SQUID GAME – The lead star of the hit South Korean survival drama allegedly has similar looks with a Filipino Celebrity.

The 9-episode series tells the story of a group of people who risk their lives in a mysterious survival game with a 45.6 billion Korean won prize.

Four hundred and fifty-six people, who have all struggled financially in life, are invited to play a mysterious survival competition.

Competing in a series of traditional children’s games but with deadly twists, they put their lives at risk to compete for a 45.6 billion Korean won or 38.5 million US dollars prize.

It stars Korean actors; Lee Jung-jae, Park Hae-soo and Wi Ha-joon and is directed by Hwang Dong-hyuk.

Meanwhile, netizens think that lead star Lee Jung-jae looks like Slater Young.

In the series, Lee Jung-jae portrays the role of Seong Gi-hun (No. 456), a chauffeur and a gambling addict. He lives with his mother and struggles to financially support his daughter. He participates in the Game to settle his many debts.

Slater rose to fame when he won the Pinoy Big Brother: Unlimited in 2012.

Recently, a netizen took to the micro-blogging site, Twitter wherein it posted a photo of Jung-jae accompanied by the caption: “Di mo kami maloloko Slater Young.”

Slater retweeted the said post who seemed to agree that he has physical similarities with the Korean actor.

Kryz Uy, the wife of the Kapamilya actor, also shared through Instagram Stories that they watched Squid Game after being tagged about it.
