Shopee is a Singaporean multinational technology company that specializes in e-commerce.

Shopee, a subsidiary of Sea Limited, was founded in Singapore in 2015 and later expanded its operations internationally.

With 343 million monthly visitors as of 2021, it is widely regarded as the largest e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia.

The company also serves consumers and sellers in several countries in East Asia (Taiwan), Latin America, and Europe (Poland) who wish to purchase and sell their goods online.

Recently, Lazada posted a teaser of its newest endorser for the “Biggest Sale” this coming November 11-13.

Some netizens claimed that Lazada’s upcoming endorser is no less than Anne Curtis.

As expected, it generated mixed reactions from the netizens.

Previously, actress-television host Toni Gonzaga, a staunch supporter of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., was announced as the newest endorser of Shopee.

Because of this, some netizens called on to boycott the online shopping giant.

There were users who decided to uninstall the app and delete their accounts as well.
