Here’s the response of Mel De Guia to the basher of Sheryn Regis
MEL DE GUIA – The partner of Power Belter Sheryn Regis called out a “fan” of Asia’s Phoenix Morissette over the song, Gusto Ko Nang Bumitaw.
Johanne Morissette Daug Amon better known by her stage name, Morissette, first rose to prominence when she finished runner-up on TV5’s Star Factor at the age of 14.
In 2013, she competed in the first season of ABS-CBN’s The Voice of the Philippines, where she became part of Sarah Geronimo’s team.
Morissette has often been referred to as “Asia’s Phoenix” since her performance at the 14th Asia Song Festival in Busan, South Korea on September 24, 2017.
On the other hand, dubbed the “Crystal Voice of Asia”, Sheryn is best known for her hits such as “Hindi Ko Kayang Iwan Ka”, “Kailan Kaya”, “Come In Out of the Rain”, and “Gusto Ko Nang Bumitaw.”
It was last December when the singer confirmed her relationship with Mel, who is a YouTuber and an entrepreneur. Sheryn then came out as a lesbian in the couple’s joint interview with Ogie Diaz.
Meanwhile, Mel De Guia, the partner of Sheryn Regis, took to social media wherein she called out a fan of Morissette over the song, Gusto Ko Nang Bumitaw.
Gusto Ko Nang Bumitaw was the themesong of the hit teleserye, The Broken Marriage Vow.
According to a netizen, the name and career of Sheryn have been placed in the spotlight anew thanks to the rendition of Morissette of the song Gusto Ko Nang Bumitaw.
This prompted Mel De Guia to air her frustration against the netizen.
