PBBM’s trip to Singapore, questioned by Rep. France Castro
FRANCE CASTRO – The House deputy minority leader and ACT Teachers Party-list representative questioned the recent trip of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. to Singapore.
PBBM traveled to Singapore over the weekend to watch the Formula One (F1) Grand Prix, which was held at the Marina Bay Street Circuit in the city-state.
In a Facebook post, the president stated that watching the expensive race made him more productive.
“They say that playing golf is the best way to drum up business, but I say it’s Formula 1. What a productive weekend!” he wrote in a social media post.

In an interview, Rep. France Castro said that Marcos Jr. should show proof of what happened during his recent trip and how the country will benefit from it.
She went on to say that the president should reveal who paid for his trip to Singapore.
According to her via the report of Balita.net.ph, his trip to Singapore came at the wrong time because the country was severely damaged by Super Typhoon ‘Karding,’ and Marcos Jr. has yet to visit the affected areas.
The congresswoman explained that if Marcos Jr. was proven of using a government-owned jet, it can be deduced that he used a public fund.
She claimed the Marcoses were simply demonstrating their “family lifestyle” on the aforementioned trip amid the suffering of many Filipinos.
Meanwhile, the Palace said that Marcos flew to Singapore to encourage more investors to invest in the country.
