Boxing is the sport or practice of fighting with fists, usually while wearing padded gloves, in a roped square ring under strict rules.

It is considered an extreme sport, and only a few people make a name for themselves in it.

Given the intensity of this combat sport, a boxer must train before participating in an amateur or professional match.

It was on October 9 when Pacquiao faced off with Ruiz at BF Homes Phase I Gymnasium in Parañaque City.

Michael won via unanimous decision.

However, the fight was not easy for him. He once had his nose bleed after receiving a straight punch from his opponent.

Some netizens believe that Michael has potential in the field of boxing but according to him, it was his last bout because he will not pursue the said sport.

In an interview with Dyan Castillejo, Michael Pacquiao said that he just wants to try boxing but has no plans to fight again like his brother, Jimuel.

According to Michael, he will focus more on his music career.

“I just want to experience [boxing]” he said.

Apparently, it is not known if he will change his mind and continue boxing like his brother, Jimuel.

Michael is the son of the only eight-division world champion, Manny Pacquiao.

Michael’s father has not yet made a statement about his first amateur fight.
