Bank Account Holder Received P4,500 Although He Withdraws Only P900 From ATM

MALFUNCTIONING ATM MACHINE – A bank account holder withdraws P900 from an ATM machine but received P4, 500.

A Facebook user named TJ Tenedero has shared photos of excess cash from the amount he withdrew from a bank’s ATM machine. The post goes viral online and garnered various reactions from netizens.

Tenedero narrated that he went to the ATM machine at the bank to withdraw money. He decided to withdraw P900 but he receive P4,500. The latter was surprised after receiving excess cash from the amount he withdraw.

At first, TJ thought that the machine spits P100 bills but was shocked after learning that they were P1, 000 bills. He also concluded that the excess cash has been accidentally left by other account holders.

“Nataranta ako saka naawa sa pwedeng nawalan ng pera. [Inisip] ko baka sa naunang nagwidraw sa akin un. So pumasok ako agad sa Bank para ibalik. Saka di naman akin un,” Tenedero said.

The latter explained that other account holders experienced the same problem. One client received P3,500 although he only withdrew P1,700. They were able to return the excess to the bank.

Ps. Binalik ko na po. May iba pang tao na nilabasan ng atm ng sobrang pera.

As of the moment may napasok pang may sobrang pera na inilabas ng atm.

Nabigay naman po ng Landbank yung cash namin na winidraw talaga.”
