The controversial answer of Miss Q&A Grand Winner Anne Patricia Lorenzo
ANNE PATRICIA LORENZO – The winning answer of Miss Q and A: Kween of the Multibeks Grand Winner went viral, garnering reactions from netizens.
It was on Saturday when the grand finals of the It’s Showtime segment kicked off. At the end of the show, Lorenzo won the crown.
She bested the other candidates with her winning answer with a touch on politics.
In the final question and answer portion, she was asked: “Naniniwala ka bang may taong tanga?”
According to her, people are naturally intelligent but some just choose to be “tanga”. She likened this situation to people’s way of selecting the leader of the country.
She said, “Tulad na lamang sa pagpili ng mga pinuno ng ating bayan. Nagiging tanga tayo dahil alam naman natin kung sino ang may kredibilidad at kakayahan. Pero, nagpapadala tayo sa matatamis na salita.”
While some praised Lorenzo’s winning answer which appears to be a “patama” to 31-M who voted for President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, there were Kakampinks who suspected that she only said it in order to win the pageant.
Some netizens brought up Lorenzo’s post from May 10, in which she expressed her support for PBBM.
Meanwhile, aside from gaining the crown designed by Mark Santos, she also won other prizes such as Php 500,000.00 cash, Php 100,000.00 worth of a beauty package, and Php 450,000.00 worth of a business package.
Miss Q&A Grand Winner Anne Patricia Lorenzo has yet to clarify if she’s a pro or anti-BBM.
