It was on August 16 when Jormiel, an infamous social media personality who calls himself “Haring Bangis”, dared Abueva to a basketball game.

He even said that he’s ready to bet 100,000 in case he faces off with Abueva.

“Calvin Abueva labanan mo ko, one-on-one lang… race to twelve, tatapusin ko agad ‘yan,” he said.

The PBA player has responded to the challenge of Jormiel Labador. He said he will fight with him in a one-on-one basketball game right after the PBA conference.

“Masyadong mababa pusta mo, after nang conference lalabanan kita ahaha,” he wrote in an Instagram story.

It seems that Jormiel can’t wait for the PBA conference to end and he wants to beat Abueva in a one-on-one game. The latter is one of the best players in the said league.

“Matagal pa yang conference eh, ang dami niyong request, bat kasi ganyan ang mga PBA player. Ako kasi pag may naghamon sakin palag agad eh,” he said.

He also criticized PBA player Japeth Aguilar who earlier said that he was willing to give his house to Rendon if the so-called motivational speaker beat Gilas Pilipinas player Marc Pingris in a basketball game.

Rendon is also making a buzz online after he accepted the challenge Pingris for a 1-on-1 game.

This came after Rendon criticized Gilas head coach Chot Reyes. His criticism reached Pingris and prompted the latter to dare him for a basketball match.

Rendon has already accepted the challenge. However, there are no details yet on whether their much-awaited game will push through.
