Love team era of Judy Ann Santos and Rico Yan
JUDY ANN SANTOS – The award-winning actress made some revelations during her love team with late actor Rico Yan.
Some of the films starring Kapamilya actress Judy Ann Santos are now available in digitally restored and remastered versions.
With Sagip Pelikula, an ABS-CBN Film Restoration program, movies such as Mara Clara The Movie, Paano Ang Puso Ko, Bakit Di Totohanin, Isusumbong Kita Sa Tatay Ko, and ang Kay Tagal Kitang Hinintay can now be watched online via KTX.ph.
In an exclusive “Spotlight” online interview conducted by ABS-CBN Film Restoration head Leo Katigbak, Judy Ann reflected on some of her career highlights as a dramatic actress in the 1990s
At one point, Judy Ann shared her colorful love team era with the late matinee idol Rico Yan.
Judy Ann, who was a simple girl at the time, admitted that working with Rico Yan, who was idolized by many women, was not difficult for her.
Judy Ann and Rico previously collaborated on some projects, and the Kapamilya actress can also say that she became very close to the late actor.
In their closeness, the actress became aware of the “chismis” between them.
“The spark with Rico and I was very genuine in a way na whenever we get interviewed at tinatanong na are you together, we would always say ‘no’, kasi hindi naman talaga and hindi naman talaga umabot na naging kami,” she said.
According to the actress, she and the late actor treasured their long-standing friendship.
Aside from the 1998 movie Kay Tagal Kitang Hinintay, Rico Yan and Judy Ann Santos also starred in the 1997 movie Paano Ang Puso Ko and some Kapamilya shows like Gimik
Rico Yan died in 2002, at the age of 27.

As For Me: Base on the photos that I saw / have seen that Rico & Judy Ann are very very sweet to the endings of their movie/s together…..I think they were really on a relationship or steady po…..Even though they denied it & their relationship was only being best friends…..Actions speaks louder than the WORDS….Anyway, Just my opinion po…I love their LOVETEAM Kasi I am A SOLID Fan of these 2 big stars…..So In my thoughts & my Heart….Forever I will cherish their being together, cause of Showing their fans like me, who love them so dearly….. I LOVE THIS LOVETEAM Forever !!!
