James Deakin: “Please don’t give people the… “ay, GC pala” look that makes them feel like a 2nd class customer”
JAMES DEAKIN – The Television host and transport vlogger couldn’t hide his frustration against an establishment that treated him differently for paying with a gift card or GC.
In a lengthy post, Deakin expressed his dismay following his experience in the said establishment.
According to him, he underwent a lot of processes and questioning before completing the process of paying with the use of a gift card.
A gift card is a form of payment that can be used to make purchases at retail stores, gas stations, restaurants, and other locations.
The gift card is loaded with money that holder can use at places that accept it. Some prepaid gift cards have a cost associated with buying them.
James Deakin explained that the concept of the gift card is to give the customer money in advance, but it seems that the staff of the said establishment think that those who pay the gift card get the things they buy for free.

Apparently, he did not drop the name of the establishment that treated him differently after using a gift card as payment.
As expected his post, was flooded with mixed comments from netizens.
