Dina Bonnevie, whose real name is Geraldine Bonnevie Savellano, is an award-winning actress.

Her first acting assignment was Temptation Island in 1980 with Joey Gosiengfiao.

Before joining showbiz, she was first runner-up in Miss Magnolia 1979 Beauty Contest.

Dina is an ex-wife of Eat Bulaga! host Vic Sotto. They got married in 1981 but were annulled in 1992. They have two children; Danica and Oyo Boy.

In a recent interview, she talked about her relationship with the ex-wife of Vic and the latter’s present wife.

Vic was once married to actress Coney Reyes, the mother of Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto.

Presently, he’s married to Pauleen Luna and they have a daughter named Tali.

Dina is known to the press as a “reporter’s delight” meaning she’s not fond with off the record answers whenever she’s being interviewed.

In fact, in the media conference of Kalye Kweens, her sitcom with Alma Moreno on TV5, she became open about her relationship with Coney and Pauleen.

“Before, si Coney kasi talagang magkaibigan kami. Pero now, when I see her, hi hello. Hindi pa kami nagkaroon ng chance to sit down and talk,” she said.

According to her, she got the chance to talk to Pauleen during the birthday of Isaac, son of Oyo Sotto and Kristine Hermosa wherein the present wife of Vic introduced her daughter to Bonnevie.

“Ipinakilala niya lang pero hindi pa kami… we never had the chance to sit down and chat. Sabi nga ni Danica, ‘Gusto nga sana ni Pauleen na maging okay kayo. You know, to talk.'” she said.

“Sabi ko, parang ang awkward kasi. Ano sana ang topic namin, si Vic?” she quipped.
