SCHOLARSHIP PRANK – The latest prank which started via TikTok continues to make waves on social media.
Many have been hooked to Tiktok since the country was devastated by the coronavirus pandemic leaving some of our fellow being stuck in their homes..
TikTok is an app used to create short music, lip-sync, dance, and talent videos of 3 to 15 seconds and short looping videos of 3 to 60 seconds. It has more than 1 billion users worldwide.
The video-sharing platform is also an avenue for the latest trends and pranks.
One of the latest pranks that started thru TikTok is the scholarship prank.
In the said prank, a student records himself or herself together with a family member or parents.
Then, the prankster began introducing himself or herself while sharing sad stories about their family in the hopes to be qualified for a scholarship.
After that, they start to make a claim about their family members such as having a disability or other condition.
The unaware victim then tries to pretend to be mute, deaf, etc. until they finish the introductory video.

Meanwhile, aside from the scholarship prank, another trend that also started on TikTok are the terms forda and ferson.
The terms are used to make a comment about something or certain situations.
Many were confused by these terms, others find it cringy, especially if one doesn’t have an idea about its context.
Forda is simply the shorthand for “for the” while ferson means “person.”
In other words, it refers to someone who is into a certain thing or those who are classifying themselves as that type of person.
For instance, you might call someone tired “forda pagoda ang ferson.”
