MARY GRACE ZULUETA – A mother passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) after 18 takes and even landed in the Top 2.

One of the hardest board examinations in the country is the teacher’s board or Licensure Examination for Teachers.

In fact, only 8,667 elementary teachers out of 17,149 examinees (50.54%) and 10,193 secondary teachers out of 20,191 examinees (50.48%) successfully passed June 2022 LET.

Among the passers in this year’s teacher’s board exam is a certain Mary Grace Millama Zulueta.

Zulueta earned the praises of netizens with her back story before she passed the exams and become a professional teacher.

On Facebook, Diane Asanza David shared that Zulueta passed the exam after 18 takes. She even landed in the Top 2 in the board examinations for teachers.

“Nakita namin kung gaano mo pinaghirapan ma’am Mary Grace Millama Zulueta itong board exam na ito. Nag-aalaga ka ng mga anak, nagtuturo ng mga bata, pagkatapos ng trabaho, diretso sa pag-aaral for Board Exam,” said David.

According to her, Zulueta faced a lot of challenges during their review such as financial difficulty, hard-up in teaching, absences in school and to name a few.

But her hard work paid off after she successfully passed the board exam for teachers and even landed in the Top 2 with a rating of 92.60 percent.
