LUIS MANZANO AND JESSY MENDIOLA — The celebrity couple decided to postpone their church wedding because of this reason.
To recall, the two announced that they’re expecting their first child together.
Jessy shared snippets of how she and Luis found out that they were parents-to-be in a five-minute vlog titled “A NEW CHAPTER” that was uploaded on her YouTube channel.
The video showed the journey the couple gone through since their marriage. Jessy and Luis even used their wedding vows as part of the background audio for the video.
Following the announcement, the actress took to social media to reveal the meaning behind the video that the two shot in a chapel in Benguet.
According to her, she and her husband had planned for their church wedding this year “but suddenly God gave us this wonderful blessing, proving time and again that God is the master planner”.
Jessy and Luis, who tied the knot in February 2021, were already planning for a church wedding but would have to postpone it until the actress gives birth to their first child.

While they have set the church wedding in mind, Jessy’s pregnancy is a welcome surprise for the two of them.
The two have put their religious faith in the center as Jessy and Luis trust the plans given to them.
“No matter what your plans are, HE has a divine plan for you, one that is definitely BETTER than what you have imagined. His plan is always the best,” Jessy wrote in the caption of her social media post.
Jessy and Luis thanked those who have supported them since day one of their relationship. For them, their loyal fans are the reason they still keep on going.
