Kind-Hearted Fireman Earns Praises Online After Creating Table for Learners w/ Special Needs

A kind-hearted fireman earned praise from the online community after building a table for learners with special needs.

A Facebook user named Cyrell Jones Sidlao has shared the photo and video of a kind fireman who builds a table for learners with special needs. The post quickly circulates online and earned praises from the netizens.

Sindangan Municipal Fire Station Chief Officer of the Intelligence and Investigation Section SFO1 Paul Nelson A. Galit builds a table for students with special needs at a school in Sindangan, Zamboanga del Norte.

Inspector Alejandro Abonita II who leads the fire station personnel is very active in participating in the “Brigada Eskwela” of the Department of Education.

“It was during at that time that Mr. Cyrell Jones Sidlao, a compassionate teacher from Buyos Elementary School told us that he was planning to make a table for the children with special needs but don’t have a budget for the labor,” Galit said.

Aside from being a fire officer, Galit is also a graduate of Bachelor of Elementary Education and a Registered Teacher. He did not hesitate to volunteer because he understands the appeal of school teachers. Galit decided to make a table for free.

“I offer my help kasi maliban sa hobby ko ang pagpanday, what compels me to do it, is the idea and its’ purpose. Isa din kasi akong guro, I am a graduate of Bachelor of Elementary Education and a Registered Teacher,” Galit said.
