Latest Update on the Case of Jovelyn Galleno
JOVELYN GALLENO CASE – The sister of Leobert Dasmariñas, one of the primary suspects in the killing of the missing lady believes that her brother was innocent.
Leobert Dasmariñas alias Padung, one of the primary suspects and first cousin of Jovelyn earlier turned himself into the authorities.
Eventually, the suspect detailed how he and his accomplice identified as Jovert Valdestamon, also a cousin of Jovelyn, committed the crime.
Padung claimed he was just the lookout while Valdestamon was molesting the victim.
Dasmariñas is now considered one of the primary suspects in the incident.
But according to the sister of Dasmariñas, her brother is innocent.
In an interview with Super Radyo Palawan, the sister of Leobert said that they are willing to defend him even if they will get embarrassed in their community.
“Kahit anong mangyari andito kami, kahit mapahiya tayo. Grabe na ‘yung pambabatikos nila samin dito pero ayos lang ‘tol, dahil mas naniniwala kami na hindi mo kayang gawin ‘yan,” she said.
According to her, she witnessed how their “Kuya Leobert” take care of them that’s why she’s not convinced that the latter has an involvement in the crime.

The sister of Leobert is wondering how come he got involved in the abduction and killing of Galleno because she said the only charge he’s facing was stabbing Jovert.
She’s also wondering why the police won’t allow them to personally talk to Leobert.
Meanwhile, the family of Dasmariñas is waiting for the DNA results to know if Leobert is innocent or not.
