CHRISTIAN CARPIO – A teacher is earning the praises of netizens after having the courage to take his shoes off and gave them to a student marching on his graduation day wearing shoes that are already worn out.

“Kindness is free.” It is an old proverb that says everyone has the capacity to be generous and kind.

Kindness is also something that everyone should emulate.

Speaking of kindness, a teacher from Labuan Central School in Labuan, Zamboanga City is earning the praises of netizens.

This, after taking his shoes off and giving them to a student marching on graduation day with worn-out shoes.

A student was on his way to get his diploma wearing worn-out shoes.

Carpio immediately took off his shoes after seeing the shoes of the student wrapped in scotch tape.

His act was captured by his co-teacher named @Van Nessa (Facebook).

“Kinukuwento ko ito hindi upang mag-malaki, bagkus upang sila nitong guro sa kwento ng Mindanao Voices ay pamarisan — lalo na noong mas may mga kakayahan sa buhay,” Carpio said.

Carpio is known for being kind and generous to students of the said institution.

The tear-jerking act of Carpio is currently making rounds online. In fact, he has been featured on different news and blog sites.

Netizens poured in praise on the teacher saying that through him, “humanity has been restored.”

There were also people who pledge to give new shoes to the student at the same time to teacher Christian.
