Ruru Madrid: “Kung gaano ko pinapahalagahan ‘yung mga bagay na meron ako, hindi ako ganito.”
RURU MADRID — The Kapuso actor recently shared that actress Bianca Umali changed him, saying that she’s his best friend.
Ruru said in an interview on “Updated With Nelson Canlas” that the actress has done a lot for him.
“Siya ‘yong nakapagpabago sa akin,” Ruru said. “My work ethic, hindi ganito before, kung paano ko mahalin ang craft ko, hindi ganito before. Kung gaano ko pinapahalagahan ‘yung mga bagay na meron ako, hindi ako ganito.“
Although Ruru didn’t clarify the real score between him and Bianca, he said that he wanted to cherish what they had. Labels aside, the actor said that Bianca was his best friend and she “knows everything”.
To recall, the actor admitted that he has been crushing on Bianca since he was 11 years old.

Ruru Madrid previously revealed that the first time he ever saw the actress was when he’s in Grade 5 but it wasn’t until he became an actor himself that met her.
The actor also said that he preferred ladies who were older than himself while he’s young at that time, and it wasn’t until he and the actress worked together in “Sunday Pinasaya” that he started to see her properly.
“Nagkausap kami doon. And then one night parang GMA party yata ‘yon, I was there nakapagusap kami nagkaroon kami ng malalim na conversation. I didn’t expect kasi lagi ko siyang nakikita bilang isang nakakabatang kapatid eh,” Ruru said at that time.
Based on a report on GMA News Online, the two went on a brunch date last April. Bianca shared a photo at that time and Ruru commented, “Always and forever”.
