The first SONA of PBBM will take place on Monday, July 25 at Batasang Pambansa in Quezon City.

It is expected that more or less 1300 persons will personally attend the first state of the nation address of the newest president of the Republic of the Philippines. However, they need to present a negative result of RT-PCR first.

According to House Secretary-General Mark Llandro Mendoza, at least 70-80% have confirmed their attendance.

Among those who will attend are former presidents Gloria Macapagal Arroyo and Joseph “Erap” Estrada.

Aside from the members of the diplomatic corps and justices, Mendoza said that all the governors were also invited.

On the other hand, more than 20,000 troops will be deployed in the nation’s address.

A group from Ilocos is said to be assigned to sing the national anthem.

It will be directed by Paul Soriano, the husband of Toni Gonzaga, who served as director of campaign ads for his “ninong” Bongbong Marcos.

Meanwhile, an open letter published by a netizen addressed to BAYAN Secretary-General Renato Reyes resurfaced ahead of the first SONA of PBBM.

According to her, she has already finished her studies and had work and business yet Renato Reyes is still present in the rallies.
