Here’s the message of Juan Ponce Enrile to President Bongbong Marcos
JUAN PONCE ENRILE – The former senator expressed his gratitude to President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. after being appointed as the Chief Presidential Legal Counsel.
It was just recently when Enrile was named as the chief presidential legal counsel of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.
At 98, he’s the oldest Cabinet member of the 17th president of the Republic of the Philippines.
Enrile has been in the government service for more or less 50 years. He became an assemblyman, congressman, senator, and senate president.
He is said to be the protege of BBM’s father late President Ferdinand Marcos Sr. It was in 1966 when he served as acting secretary of finance, secretary of the Justice Department from December 17, 1968, to February 7, 1970, and minister of defense from January 1972 to February 1986.
On Tuesday, July 26, Enrile took his oath of office at the Malacañang Palace as the Chief Presidential Legal Counsel.
He took to social media wherein he expressed his gratitude to PBBM following his appointment.

Enrile also thanked First Lady Liza Araneta Marcos for providing him with a comfortable and beautiful office near the Office of the President.
According to him, this could be his last service to the public and the country.
He said he has had no other boss except the President and his only guide in performing in duty will be his oath of office.
The Palace has yet to issue any statement with regards to the message of JPE.
