Ella Cruz turned emotional during a one-on-one interview with Boy Abunda

ELLA CRUZ – The Maid in Malacañang star turned emotional in her exclusive one-on-one interview with the King of Talk, Boy Abunda.

Ella whose real name is Gabriela Annjane Umali Cruz is an actress who rose to fame after playing the title character in the 2012 fantasy drama Aryana.

It was in 2006 when her showbiz career started via GMA Network’s Majika.

In 2007, she moved to its rival network, ABS-CBN.

Two years later, she returned to GMA Network after starring in Panday Kids and Ilumina.

Then, she moved again to ABS-CBN while appearing in Maalaala Mo Kaya and in 2011, she made another return to GMA Network until she quickly moved to TV5.

Eventually, she transferred to ABS-CBN and signed as a contract artist of Star Magic.

Currently, she’s a freelancer under Viva Artists Agency.

She’s gearing up for the drama-comedy film Maid in Malacañang which is about the last 72 hours of the Marcos family in the Palace.

In the movie, she stars as Irene Marcos. Also joining the Darryl Yap film is Cesar Montano as former President Ferdinand Marcos Sr., Diego Loyzaga as President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., Cristine Reyes as Senator Imee Marcos, and Ruffa Gutierrez as Imelda Romualdez Marcos.

While those who will portray as house helpers of the Marcos family are Elizabeth Oropesa as Yaya Lucy, Beverly Salviejo as Yaya Biday and Karla Estrada as Yaya Santa.

Previously, she earned massive criticism following her “history is like chismis” remark.

For the first time, she will speak on her recent issue.

Ella Cruz sat down in an exclusive one-on-one interview with Boy Abunda wherein she could not help but turn emotional.
