Gloria Macapagal Arroyo visits Duterte in his home in Davao City
GLORIA MACAPAGAL ARROYO – The former chief executive visited ex-President Rodrigo Duterte in his home in Davao City.
GMA served as the 14th president of the Philippines from 2001 until 2010.
She also served as vice president from 1998-2001, making her the country’s first female vice president.
Aside from that, she served as a senator from 1992 to 1998.
After her presidency, she was elected as the representative of Pampanga’s 2nd district in 2010 and later became the speaker of the House of Representatives from 2018 until her retirement in 2019.
Gloria Macapagal Arroyo later came out of retirement to be elected as representative of the same district in 2022. Currently, she’s the representative of the 2nd district of Pampanga.
She made history as the only person to hold three of the four highest offices in the country.
It was on June 30 when Rodrigo Duterte’s term as 16th President of the Republic of the Philippines ended.
His post was taken over by President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.
After serving his 6-year term as president, he returned to his home in Davao City.
Gloria Macapagal Arroyo earlier paid him a surprise visit.
Apparently, no details were disclosed about what the two talked about.

Meanwhile, Duterte, who’s now an ordinary citizen, was recently spotted in front of his house.
Wearing an old t-shirt, pajama, and slippers, the former president can be seen along with Mayor Sebastian “Baste” Duterte while looking at his grandson on board a motorcycle.
