On Saturday, July 30, Eat Bulaga!, the longest-running noontime program in the Philippines, celebrated its 43rd anniversary.

It first aired on RPN-9 on July 30, 1979, transferred to ABS-CBN on February 18, 1989, and aired permanently on GMA-7 from January 28, 1995, until today.

On the other hand, Coney Reyes was one of the hosts of Eat Bulaga! from 1982 to 1991. She was the special guest on the show on its 43rd anniversary.

The original hosts of the show namely Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon were complete in the “coming home” of Coney.

During her guest appearance, Coney grabbed the opportunity to thank those who are behind the show.

“Sa lahat ng mga bumubuo ng Eat Bulaga, production staff and crew… Some of the fun years that I had in show business was here with the Eat Bulaga! family especially with Tito, Vic, and Joey,” she said.

“Marami akong natutunan sa kanila. Sobrang marami,” she added.
