A motovlog is a type of video log recorded by a person while riding a motorcycle or any motorized vehicle. Hundreds have ventured into this kind of vlogging.

One of the famous motovloggers in the country is no less than Jay Emil Silva Lasian or popularly known as Team Katagumpay.

Team Katagumpay has over 7.6 million followers on the social networking site, Facebook. On YouTube (JayTV #KaTagumpay), he has more than 800k subscribers.

But the motovlogger is currently making rounds online. This, was after he left a post on Facebook that others find “offensive.”

“Habang tinatawanan ka nila sa pag Grind mo araw-araw. Umiiling sila sa ulam nilang tuyo at bahaw,” he wrote. “Dasurv” he added.

Apparently, his post was bashed by some netizens online.

“Mayabang ka talaga! Di kami angat tulad mo. Madaming masisipag ang hirap pa rin sa buhay na tuyo lang din ang ulam,” a netizen wrote.

After earning massive criticism from the netizens, the motovlogger took down the post.

Eventually, he issued a statement to clarify the post. According to him, it was just a metaphor.

Merriam-Webster states that a metaphor is a “figure of speech in which a word or phrase literally denoting one kind of object or idea is used in place of another to suggest a likeness or analogy between them.”
