BATO DELA ROSA – The incumbent Senator called ex-President Rodrigo Duterte the best president of the country.

Ronald Marapon Dela Rosa also known as Bato is a retired police officer who is currently serving as a senator of the Philippines since 2019.

He also served as the chief of the Philippine National Police from July 1, 2016, to April 19, 2018, and as Director-General of the Bureau of Corrections from April 30 to October 12, 2018.

Dela Rosa was nicknamed “Bato” during his first assignment in Davao when his upperclassmen likened his body to rock.

He was supposed to run for president in the previous election but a month later after filing his candidacy, he decided to withdraw.

Recently, she went to the social networking site, Facebook wherein he paid a tribute to former President Duterte.

According to him, Duterte is the best president of the Philippines.

His term ends today, June 30, after serving the country for six years.

President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. has already been sworn in as the 17th chief executive.

In his Facebook post, Dela Rosa thanked Duterte and called him GOAT or the Greatest Of All Time.

“Thank you sir our GOAT President for sharing with us your last night in office,” he said.

“You will be remembered as the most impactful President on the lives of every Filipino. Thank you for the ride sir! What a journey it has been,” he added.

Duterte has yet to respond to the remarks of Bato.
